Support the issuing, sourcing and maintanance of the groups equipment, advising on replacements and improving what is on offer. Working with the sections to ensure they have access to what is needed.
Role Detailsto oversee and ensure media content is consistant, getting out to parents and supporters and placing something in Parish publicationsalong with general help with the visual, digital image of the group, covering flyers, posters, adverts and many more
Willing volunteer, to help over see the facilites we might have as a group and manager a team to ensure they are in goo working ourder and up to specifications
Help plan and organize the fundraising team to host several evetns and activities to draw funds into the group and find /submit grant applications where needed.
Support the sections and group with the movement of members, and the management of the waiting list, joinging list. arrange commuincations to ensure members are moving up in time and sections are full and ensure the information sent out when starting is all completed
Willing volunteer, to help coordinate our termly newsletter, bringin information from the group and section together and highlighting the great things past and present from the members.
Willing volunteer, maybe with experience in project management to help oversee a few large plans we have for the longer term of the group, they should have drive and self motivation to succeed
Help plan and organize support from parents to attend events both internal to the group and in the community, Looks for chances with grants and other ways to raise funding.
This committee oversees the administration of the Group. As well as a chairman, secretary, and Treasurer, each Executive welcomes people with specific skills, and representative's member parents. Most Group Executivemeet 3-4 times a year, but effective members will volunteer for tasks in between the meetings and maximising its potential for a hugely positive impact on its young members.
No one individual is likely to have the complete set of skills required to run an effective section within the Scout Group. Teamwork is key, and all the support you need is there in abundance at Distrcit, County and National level. A Great part of helping members is seeing them develop into well-rounded Young people and enjoying yourself the adventure that you provide for them.
